Does anyone know of any software that bookmarks particular scenes when watching digital video files for future reference? Basically, it needs to record the specific time frames, provide title/description labeling, and can be exported to other file formats like simple text, word, or excel. This is not the same as video annotation tools, which write notes/comments layered on top of the video. All I am interested in is a reference tool for revisiting certain scenes within the video without having to rewatch the entire video to find that one specific scene. Hence the term “bookmarking,” just like when you bookmark a web site that you find interesting to return to later on in case you need it.
